Many online shoppers want to know if all of the Beachbody products like P90X, 10-Minue Trainer, Power 90, P90X Chin Up Bar found on ebay are illagitamate, knock-offs, copies, or fakes. I logged into ebay today and found someone selling the P90X Extreme Training system for $64! Yea! Check it out yourself by clicking on the underlined text. NOTICE: This guy listed "more than 10" of these and sold every one of them in about 3 days! He has a huge smile on his face because he now has rediculous $$ for Christmas and those who purchased may be out $59 each with cheap copies. He is probably considering investing in a few more DVD burners as well if he is in fact burning copies and selling them.
Below are a few things that you can do for peace of mind. Or just avoid the headache and purchase from a real Beachbody Coach and distributer like us at Extreme-Fit-Plus. I'd prefer you buy from a legitimate competitor who is a Coach than get ripped off by Joe Blow with a DVD burner. If you find an item on ebay that has a really low price you need to check a few things about the item.
1. Is this seller only selling one item or do they have many available. If the seller only has one item available, then the product is either used, or it is something that they purchased and never used or maybe it was a gift and they wanted to get rid of it. In this case you make the decision of this item being worthy of buying or not.
2. If the seller has several items available than you should do a couple of things. First, check the seller's feedback rating and BE SURE to read the comments left on the seller. In particular you need to be sure that someone has purchased the item you are about to buy and that everything arrived as described and was in-fact an authentic item from Beachbody. The seller may have a high feedback rating because he used to sell stuffed animals that he made from home (or additional DVD's in the example above)... If the item you are looking to buy is not in his selling history than you might want to avoid his ad if it looks to good to be true.
3. Always know that anyone who has access to selling Beachbody Products (They are called Independent Coaches) only receive a 25% discount on all Beachbody products. So if the retail price of the P90X extreme training system is $119.85 and someone is selling 50 copies of it on ebay for $60 each, either he is losing a ton of money (because his price is $90 before shipping and tax) or he is making copies of the DVD's and selling them illegally. Be very cautious when purchasing Beachbody items off of ebay. Ask the seller if they are a Beachbody employee or Coach. If they are not, then they do not have rights to resale any products from Beachbody or Product Partners, LLC. They are also strictly prohibited from selling on Ebay or any other auction sites.

Also notice that this Ebayer doesn't offer any of the printed material that comes with the P90X. This should tip you off that he is burning DVD's as fast as they are being ordered.

I recently bought the DVD set off craigslist for just $50. Got it home and noticed tons of misspelled words...with all the markings of someone for whom English was a second language. Then several of the dvd's wouldn't play all the way through. Don't think that's not frustrating when you're 45 minutes into an hour routine and the thing freezes up. I've ordered the real deal from beachbody. Chalk that up to experience.
